Content marketing includes different forms of messaging to educate, attract, inform and inspire a potential customer into an actual customer. This isn’t immediate, but a combination of strong brand recognition and lead generation will eventually generate new customers.
Content marketing always has a purpose; to get you to purchase something, to sign up or learn more about what a brand/service has to offer, content is created to influence a specific response.
Now we’ve covered the basics of what content marketing is, there are also several advantages that are worth mentioning:
1. Increased traffic – from search engines, and social media, people follow email links or share articles;
2. Increased sales – content marketing can help drive the right traffic, to the right people who are more likely to become customers;
3. Email subscribers – you can drive people to opt – into your email subscription.
