The Brief

Hopper are the number 1# travel app in the USA, sitting above big-name competitors such as Airbnb and Skyscanner on the App Store. As part of their UK launch, they wanted to drive as much awareness around their “refer a friend for £10 credit” scheme, where users could earn up to £500 by just simply sharing their referral codes with family and friends; and they saw students as the perfect audience to do this with.

What We Did

We tasked student content creators to share their “free holiday hack” which was as simple as downloading the app and inviting their peers, to earn up to £500 to spend in the Hopper app. 4 weeks later the content had been viewed over 24,973,031 times, positioning Hopper as the go-to app amongst students for that much-needed getaway.
