The strategy

Setting out to create an event that would be unexpected from megabus - we hosted a rave at XOYO in Birmingham. To fuel the excitement for the event, we launched megabuslive.com, a student contest offering students the opportunity to win free coach travel, accommodation and VIP tickets. 

We enlisted DJ Nathan Dawe to play at XOYO, who also had a secret set on a coach (spoiler alert: it's featured in his next music video!). When combined with our invitation to 30+ creators - we created a bus load of content.
